No Small Matter is a 70-minute film that explores the most overlooked, underestimated, and powerful force for good in America today: early childhood education.The film lays out the overwhelming evidence for the importance of the first five years and reveals how our failure to act on that evidence has resulted in an everyday crisis for American families.

The film will be followed by a discussion about early childhood care and learning in Massachusetts and what can be done to expand it to all of our children.
Speakers will include:
John Lippitt PhD from Tufts University Child Study and Human Development Program
Kelley Hurley M.Ed, CAGS, Early Childhood Specialist and Kindergarten teacher
Maggie Magner B.S. Director of Summer and Auxiliary Programs at the Fenn School in Concord, MA
