Coakley for Senate Campaign Message

Dear Friends of Martha,

Our campaign has had an exciting month so far. There are 45 days until the primary, and we have numerous goals that you can help us reach.

This Monday, October 26th, the candidates will be participating in their first debate at 7pm at the Kennedy Library in Dorchester, MA. Throughout Bristol and Plymouth counties, supporters will be hosting visibilities as well as debate viewing parties. We currently have debate watch parties scheduled in Dartmouth, New Bedford, and Duxbury. Please contact me if you are interested in attending a party or in hosting one!

Additionally, we have opened a phone bank in Abington. We need to fill these phone lines on a nightly basis in order to reach our goals. It is located at 538 Bedford Drive (Route 18) every day Monday through Thursday from 5:00 until 8:30 PM. If you cannot make it to a phone bank, but still want to make phone calls, we have a neighbor to neighbor program in which you can make calls from home.

We also need folks to organize stand-outs in their communities. We want to make sure that Martha’s name is seen all across the state. If this is something you would like to do please let me know and we can get you signs and a list of the local volunteers.

Lastly, we want to make sure that people are not only seeing Martha’s name everywhere, but also reading about her in their local newspapers! Please consider writing a letter to the editor for your local newspaper. If you are interested in learning about our letter to the editor program, please contact Mat Helman at helman@marthacoakley.com.
