Democratic Values: Seniors in Massachusetts

In the 20th Century, Democrats created Social Security and Medicare to protect and care for America's senior citizens. Today, Democrats in Massachusetts along with President Obama have created new and larger direct benefits to care for the Greatest Generation and beyond.

On November 6th, all of these benefits will be at stake. When fundamental American Values are at stake, you want Democrats in charge.

Expanded benefits Massachusetts seniors saw in 2012:
  • 8.8 million meals served through programs like Meals on Wheels
  • 1.3 million residents receiving access to free preventative care and screening
  • 70,000 MA seniors saves an average of $648 on prescription drugs
