Employment Opportunities for 2013/2014 Election Cycle

This is a busy time of year for all of us, but we wanted to take a moment to reach out and ask about your plans for 2013-2014. If you, your co-workers, or your staff have a background in field, particularly in running large canvass or signature gathering operations, we may have some upcoming projects that'll interest you.

Next year is already shaping up to be a very proactive year for progressive ballot measures nationwide. For us at Democracy Resources, next Spring will be the beginning of the signature gathering season across a wide field of states. We are looking to round out our national team in preparation and we're inviting applications for a number of different positions, including:

Regional Directors for multi-state signature gathering efforts: Coordinate signature gathering activities in multiple states. Must be willing to travel extensively during the course of the campaign. You'll be responsible for making sure that statewide signature gathering goals are being met while maintaining our high standards of training and professionalism.

Weekly Salary: $1,200 - $1,600

Approximate Duration: 8 - 12 months

State and Office Directors for statewide field efforts: These are leadership positions vital to our signature gathering effort in each state. Statewide Directors will coordinate activities among the various offices in the state, ensuring that company policy and state regulations are strictly adhered to. Office Directors will be in charge of recruiting, hiring, and training a daily staff of 15-35 circulators while meeting productivity expectations.

Weekly Salary: $800 - $1,200

Approximate Duration: 4 - 6 months

Regional and Statewide Administrative Staff: Administrative staff will assist Regional, Statewide, and Office Directors, oversee Human Resources, or be an active member of our validity team.

Weekly Salary: $700 - $1,200

Approximate Duration: 6 -12 months
