Save the Date: Bridgewater Dems Caucus February 28

On Saturday, February 28 at 10 a.m., Democrats will convene at the Academy Building, 66 Central Square (Council Chambers) to elect 11 delegates and 4 alternates to represent Bridgewater at the 2026 Massachusetts State Democratic Convention.

Registered and pre-registered Democrats in Bridgewater, who are 16 years old by Saturday, March 29, may vote and be elected as delegates or alternates during the caucus. Youth (age 16 to 35), individuals with disabilities, people of color, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community not elected as delegates or alternates are encouraged to apply to be add-on delegates at the caucus or by visiting https://www.massdems.org/caucus-and-convention.

The 2026 Convention will be in person at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass. on Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30.

Purpose of the BDTC

This committee is organized and constituted under authority of and in accordance with the provisions of the General Laws of the Commonwealth, and shall have as its purposes the following: to foster and advance the ideals and aims of the Democratic Party; to work and organize for the success of the Democratic candidates of the District, County, State and Nation; to do all things necessary and incidental to the building and strengthening of the Democratic Party in Massachusetts and within the Town of Bridgewater.
